FRANKLIN HIGH SCHOOL "6th ANNUAL FUTURE STARS" SPRING BASEBALL CAMP Saturday February 11th, 2012 Franklin Head Coach Matt Fournier and the Livonia Franklin Baseball Coaching Staff will be holding a spring baseball camp for baseball players (boys or girls), grades 2-6 on Saturday, February 11th, 2012. The camp will consist of two sessions focusing on sport specific skills. The Franklin staff has extensive experience at the high school and college levels. The camp will be held inside the Franklin field house using the same facilities the high school teams use. Each camper will be assigned to groups according to age and ability and instructed on a wide variety of skills. Click here for the registration form.

Game 20 Portage Northern 9 Franklin 4 Losing pitcher Justin Forrestall went 6 innings before giving way to Kyle Curtis who threw well in relief. Joel Trudell went 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs for the Patriots.

Game 19 Franklin 12 Mason 2 Josh Gorman went 5 strong innings for the win. Joe Trudell and Joe Barczuk paced the Patriot offense with 2 hits a piece. Trudell's solo home run sparked a 7 run 4th inning.

Game 18 Novi 9 Franklin 0 Losing pitcher Bobby Andrus lasted just 2/3 of an inning before giving way to Joe Barczuk who pitched very well in relief. Brent Marzion had the only hit on the day for the Patriots.

Game 17 Franklin 8 Churchill 9 Dan Muller took the loss in relief of starter Bobby Andrus. Franklin was paced offensively by Dan Muller who had 3 hits. Joe Barczuk and Brandon Hawkins each had 2 hits in the loss.

Game 16 Franklin 2 Churchill 6 Losing pitcher Brent Marzion deserved a better fate as the senior went 6 strong innings with only 2 earned runs. Josh Gorman had 2 hits and an Rbi for the Patriots.

Game 15 Franklin 12 Wayne 11 Joe Barczuk picked up the win in relief of Justin Forrestall. Franklin scored 6 runs in the bottom of the 7th with the winning runs coming on a walk off single by Adam Michael. Joe Barczuk and Bobby Andrus each had 2 hits in the game along with Adam Michaels 2.

Game 14 Franklin 5 Wayne Memorial 3 Joel trudell went 7 strong innings to pick up the win. Joel also paced the offense with 2 hits and an RBI. Dan Muller threw out a Wayne base runner at the plate to end the game.

Game 13 Franklin 5 Plymouth Salem 8 Dan muller suffered the loss in relief of starter Josh Gorman. Joe Barczuk went 3 for 3 while Travis Barnes was 2 for 3.

Game 12 Franklin 14 Belleville 10 Bobby Andrus got the win while Josh Gorman, and Joe Barczak finished up on the mound. Brandon Hawkins hit a solo Home Run while going 3 for 3. Bobby Andrus and Joe Barczak each collected 2 hits a piece.

Game 11 Franklin 14 Belleville 7 Joel Trudell got the win while Justin Forrestall threw well in relief. Bobby Andrus had 4 hits, Josh Gorman had 3 hits, and Joel Trudell had 2 hits to go along with 5 RBI's.

Game 10 Franklin 11 South Lyon 3 Brent Marzion was the winning pitcher going 7 strong innings. Joe Barczak was 4 for 4 on the day including a 3 run home run. Travis Barnes hit a solo shot and Josh Gorman had 3 hits.

Game 9 Franklin 6 Plymouth 9 Brent Marzion took the loss going 6 innings. Joel Trudell had 2 hits while Josh Gorman, Travis Barnes, and Tyler Dewhirst all had 1 hit.

Game 8 Franklin 3 Plymouth 4 Joel Trudell was the losing pitcher going 3 and 1/3 Adam Michael, Travis Barnes, and Brandon Hawkins all had hits in the game.

Game 7 Franklin 10 South Lyon East 5 Josh Gorman got the win going 5 and 1/3 inning Justin Forrestall threw well in relief. Josh Gorman and Bobby Andrus both had 2 hits in the game.

Game 6 Franklin 7 Dearborn Edsel Ford 4 Brent Marzion went 6 and 2/3 innings to get the win. Dan Muller recoded his second save of the day by pitching the final 1/3 of the 7th. Justin Forrestall was 1 for 2 with a walk and 2 rbi's.

Game 5 Franklin 7 Rearbrn Edsel Ford 3 Joel Trudell got the win for the Patriots going 6 and 1/3 innings. Dan Muller recorded the save. Joe Barczuk was 3 for 4 with 2 rbi's.

Game 4 Franklin 12 Redford Thurston 2 in 5 innings Josh Gorman went 5 innings for the win Joel Trudell, Dan Muller, and Justin Forrestall all had 2 hits. Josh Gorman, Jake Turchan, and Brandon Hawkins each collected hits as well.

Game 3 Franklin 16 Redford Thurston 1 in 3 innings Brent Marzion went all 3 innings for the win Joel Trudell had 2 hits while Dan Muller, Matt Luke, Josh Gorman, Travis Barnes, Tyler Dewhirst, Bobby Andrus, and Adam Michael all had hits.

Game 2 Franklin 8 Dearborn 2 Joel Trudell went 5 innings in the win Joel Trudell paced the offense going 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored. Travis Barneswas 2 for 3 with 2 rbis. Adam Michael and Josh Gorman also had hits.

Game 1 Franklin 4 Garden city 9 Brent Marzion took the loss going 4 innings. Adam Michael was 2 for 2 while Tyler Dewhirst and Bobby Andrus also collected hits.

On Thursday, April 14th, 2011 The Livonia Franklin Baseball program will be teaming up with the area 23 Special Olympics in a home run derby to raise money for both organizations. On the 14th, the Franklin High School Baseball Players and Coaches will take turns hitting baseballs over the fence. Each ball that lands over the fence in fair territory will win a prize for the person who sponsored that ball. Between now and April 14th balls can be sponsored for $10.00 each. Benjamin Franklin High School, also referred to as Franklin High School, Livonia Franklin and FHS, is a public high school located in Livonia, Michigan, United States. Established in September 1961, it is a part of the Livonia Public Schools district. The school currently educates approximately 1,800 students from a portion of southern Livonia and northern Westland. The school mascot is the patriot and the school colors are red and blue.

Franklin is a Class A athletic school and is part of the Kensington Lakes Activities Association and are in the south division.
